On Wednesday, March 23, 2022, the SAT will be administered to 11th grade students as well as 12th grade students who have not met the state mandated exam requirement. On Tuesday, April 19, 2022, the PSAT will be administered to 9th and 10th grade students.

The district will designate March 23 as a non-attendance day for 9th, 10th, and 12th grade students and April 19 as a non-attendance day for 11th and 12th grade students.

These designated testing days are scheduled  to provide the state assessments referenced in the Illinois School Code.

The following tables delineate attendance requirements for students on March 23 and April 19:


Wednesday, March 23, 2022

Required to Attend School

  • 11th grade students required to test the SAT

  • 12th grade students required to test the SAT to graduate

  • All students in specialty high schools that only service DLM-AA students

  • Elementary and middle school students, including middle school students in academic centers

Day of Non-attendance

  • 9th and 10th grade students in schools with SAT testers

  • 12th grade students in schools with SAT testers who are not required to be administered the SAT to graduate

  • High school students who qualify for DLM-AA and attend schools with SAT testers



Tuesday, April 19, 2022

Required to Attend School

  • 9th grade students required to test the PSAT 8/9

  • 10th grade students required to test the PSAT 10

  • All students in specialty high schools that only service DLM-AA students

  • Elementary and middle school students, including middle school students in academic centers

Day of Non-attendance

  • High school students who qualify for DLM-AA and attend schools with PSAT testers
