9th Graders: CTE Investigation Tours during PE/ROTC this week

Freshmen will take part in a tour of CTE classes and meet CTE instructors. These tours will occur during ROTC and PE class periods. Students will take an interest survey after the tour. This survey can be found in the students' CPS email and will also be given the day of the tour in the form of a flier. Students will rank their CTE course choice 1-9, 1 is the course they want the most and 9 would be the least.

Once students have completed their interest survey they will be sent a follow up email on 11/8. This email will contain appointment links for all CTE instructors. They will choose ONE COURSE and create an appointment with ONE CTE INSTRUCTOR. Interviews will be conducted on 11/12 - 11/15. Each instructor will have different availability - before school, during lunch, or after school. Pay attention to your appointment time.

A student will interview 1 time!
A student will only interview a 2nd time if they are not suited for the CTE pathway of their choice by the instructor. This could be due to attendance or grades, etc. Interviews are first come first serve for all students!
