Dear Assistant Principal Batey,

We trust this message finds you well.

We are thrilled to announce the return of the WayMaker Men's Summit, now more expansive than ever. This year, we are embracing the theme of "Competing Against Yourself for Growth."  Founder and BET Executive, Louis Carr, started the Summit as a platform for Black men to unite, learn, forge alliances, and enhance their acumen in business, health, career, and community.  The conference has grown to become the largest and most impactful gathering for Black men in the country, reaching over 2100 men (including 600 male teens).

Once again, we are bringing together brilliant minds and relatable leaders for our Black male audience.  Our roster of past speakers is impressive and diverse, featuring luminaries such as Dwyane Wade, Daymond John, Bob Johnson, Ben Crump, Nick Cannon, Derrick Rose, Fat Joe, Chris Gardner, T.D. Jakes, Sway Calloway, among others.

The 2-day event is designed to engage a diverse audience, including adults and a vibrant group of one thousand teenagers who will participate in the Teen Summit on the second day. This summit is specifically tailored for male teens aged 13-18, offering them a day of enriching conversation, empowerment, and mentorship.  This event is a unique opportunity for men to forge connections with the youth, exposing them to new experiences and environments that they might not have encountered before.  This includes the chance to interact with high-quality, compassionate, and forward-thinking Black men.

We are thrilled to announce that Ian Michael Brock, a Gen Z powerhouse, Thiel Fellow, Author, and Co-Founder of Dream Hustle Code and New Nerd, will be returning to lead and host the Teen Summit. His dynamic presence and inspiring leadership promise to make this event a memorable experience.

As we celebrate the 8th Anniversary of the Summit, we are excited to extend an invitation to 50 Students from Prosser Career Academy to join us at the country's premier empowerment conference for Black men (If you require more tickets, please let us know).  This year's venue is the Convene - Willis Tower, located at 233 South Wacker Drive and the Teen Summit will take place on Saturday, September 7, 2024.
